Support Groups
Find Connection. Share Experiences. Build Support.
Support groups bring people together to connect, share experiences, learn from one another, and feel less alone. Sometimes simply being in a room with people who understand what you are going through can make a difference.
The Mental Health Association in Tompkins County offers a variety of peer-led support groups and activities for adults ages 18 and older.
Our groups are welcoming, non-clinical spaces where participants can share as much or as little as they feel comfortable with. You do not need to have a diagnosis, be receiving mental health treatment, or have prior experience with support groups to participate. Whether you are looking for encouragement, practical tools, connection with others, or simply a place where you can be yourself, you are welcome.
There is no cost and no referral required.
